Blogging: The end has come for me.

So, I have to now say that I am leaving the hobby recently I have done no work to my armies at all and for a long time very little. I can write editorials all day but they are not that great and without actually participating in the hobby I can hardly run a blog about it. I also had less and less time for warhammer because of 'real life'.

I will still be listening to podcasts and maybe reading but I have decided to sell my armies. be going up on ebay at some point and I will put a notice up on this blog when that happens.

As for my other blogs they have not really taken off but I will leave them up on the web if anybody wants to read them. Even if nobody wants it this blog will still stay up on the web as it has plenty of tutorials etc on it and I would not like 3 years of work to go to waste.

I would like to give thanks to all of the FTW blogger group for being such good friends and readers, especially Ron from From The Warp. As well as all my other readers.

I hope everybody has enjoyed this blog and continues their own. I don't know if I will ever rejoin this hobby but I have enjoyed it while it has lasted.

Problems: Camera, the good and the bad.

So, my camera is well and truely broke so I ripped it up for some bits and I got a few neat pieces to add to something. Tha bad thing is that pics will still have to wait a bit. The good thing is that we will be getting a new camera soon so the wait will be at an end reasonably quickly.

Problems: DISQUS

Since moving to draft it cut my DISQUS out, I now have it back but all comments that you have previously posted have gone, I read them all thoug and I am sorry for the inconveniance.

Converting: The bike, the standard and the body.

So I started converting my bike sergent and he is coming along nicely, the flag was hard but I got it eventually.

I made the standard by using the stick that goes on the back of the bike and sticking it two the standard that comes with a commander before wrapping white tac round it and glueing (this makes a hard substance)

Just the body, I know that the face looks red but I painted it then scratched down to the metal in some places before adding a blood effect to simulate a wound over a metal patch from an improvement.

Side one is nice and clean.

The back needs work.

The whole model needs work and I have plenty of bits to stick on and paint but this is my update for today.

P.S. The up coming project is a imperial tank and command bunker. (need help on name for another time).
