Thoughts: Is cheating within the rules cheating?
I mean sometimes it is obvious what GW means but they have not FAQ'd it and have not made the rule exactly precise. this is when people start to not just use they vagueness to their advantage but tear these loose ends apart. this is what I call cheating within the rules and whilst it is legal, would they game not be better. Now it wouldn't solve the fact that some armies are just better than others but it would help to rule out some cases where no (or little) tactical accumen is required. I personally think the anwer is yea and I think that you will agree.
So, assuming that is correct would you call someone a 'cheater' for trying to pull loose ends and bend rules? You decide.

Thoughts: Updates because your bad? Somebody elses philosophy.
Now, that philosophy about marines being well, FAIL! is interesting to me, I don't belive in that, do you nplease tell me. Now the other thing is that marines are poster boys and that's whay they always get picked, so I was thinking that we could put together some posts on how to do some articles on different armies and starting builds etc at different points values (1000-2000 pts) then how they are easy and hard to play with, now these don't have to be collected together but just have a think about you favorite army and whether you could put a post up on your blog doing what I described above.
So, tell us what you think, thanks for reading,
Jacob.

Thoughts: New Years Resolutions
- Finish army finishing project.
- Build up some proper tactics with an army that I like and is effective (ie Space wolves and warriors of chaos).
- Keep this blog updated with interesting content.
- To do the random bits that pop up in the year like buying new stuff and to have them done with and not just left around.
So, not to big a list but then again the army finishing project is a big thing. I hope you had a gret christmas and a happy New Year. Thankks for reading,
Jacob.

Army Lists: Does everyone take a top build. In my area the answer is NO!
Lash is still a bigish deal and people think it's neat in my area but we just stick in rhinos or blast away at the princes. There is also a lack of double tyrand and double prince lists.
What I'm trying to say is that not everyone takes a tourney build some people just take something competative but not OTT.
So, what do you take. How is your local area in comparion to the tourney scene. Tell me please!

Rambles: Stop dancing around and fight (40K light hearted ramble).

(If you didn't get it then I must tell you this is not serious).
Why, of why do we run around skipping and singing in our RHINOS that are meant to charge. You may as well call them Gypsy vans for all the rhino charging they do. Wave serpents and falcons are not much better. The falcon is a deadly predator but it must be pregnant and lazy for all the killing it does.
With the advent of 5th ed and full mechanisation in a lot of armies we have seen a lot less killing with men. Yes you still shoot with your lascannons and auto cannon teams but the majority of your force scoots about for the duration of the game then makes one little assault or grabs one objective. COME ON, take a leaf out of the khorne berzerkers book and CHARGE!!!
I mean I know it's a valid tactic if you want to win a tourney or something but in pick up games you need action to have fun. Come on people. Add 10 man assault marine units and some assault termies then back it up with deverstators. Overwhelm you opponents with the rapid fire of 30-40 marines.
Go with the fluff. If you go with the fluff that says you can sit back and fire then take objectives at the last moment then damn you, I hope you go to hell, have fun and CHAAAARRRRRGGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yea that felt good. Come on. I know you want to win some times but agree with opponent to have a fighty game and attack them.
Because I think that there is A) not enough variety in our missions and B) a lack of scenarios at the moment. I am going to come up with some scenarios and additional missions so we can have some more variety. So, go from this:

Thanks for reading everyone, please tell us what you think. Remember this was light hearted banter and I did not mean to offend anyone. Thanks for reading,
Jacob.

Thoughts: Simplicity.
Now that I had established that I got onto thinking how: if you have to type in your display name, e-mail, avatar link and a password every time you want to comment on something you are less likely to comment, am I right. Now if everything you write is long winded and you take forever to get to the point less people are going to read your posts.
I had lots of other thoughts but these are just a few. Also battle reports are interesting but if you have no pics then they take forever to red and you have to picture the battle in your head.
If your blog is comlecated like how I ahve described then I understand that you may have your reasons, these are just my ramblings.
