So, I have now finished my Tzeentch sorc on disk. I used none metallic metal on the halberd and disk prongs and the only metallic colour used was shining gold. Anyway, here are the pics in a slideshow:
Pros: I am quite pleased with the NMM and the fire, as well as the grubby-ish white. I like hi and I think he stands up to close inspection as I took time in the intricate details especially he little tube on his belt which i used a speckling effect for.
Cons: the only bad bit for me is the stand. I custom made it out of a pen but i can't seem to make him stick and make it not brittle. That's why he is propped up on a bouncy ball.
Tell us what you think, thanks for reading,
Jacob.

Building: Khorne Lord on Jugger and missing bits on rhino.
These ludicrous thoughts were scrawled by
Gamers World

So, I'm sorry I have'nt posted in a few days, our internet connection went dodgey and then when it was fixed pictures wouldn't upload because it went faulty again. Now, on with the post. Since I last saw you I have been busy with all sorts and there will be a variety of posts this next week but the main two modeling things have been what is shown in the pics below:
The door on the front should have been painted befor but I had lost it and the guy on the top was a bit of a brainwave I had when rooting through my bitz box. I thought it would look cool to have him actualy holding the storm bolter. I quite like it.
This khorne lord on jugger is one of the refinements to my chaos army that I will be doing befor calling it finished or at least as finished as an army ever is. I already have plans to do touch up's and rehauls of some models after the army finishing project. I'm thinking off perhaps to other way off projects, one being a terrain finishing project and the other being a touch up project.
So, what do you think, thanks for reading,
Jacob.

Tutorials/Army Finishing Project: Sally squad finished and conversions on regular guys.
These ludicrous thoughts were scrawled by
Gamers World
at
12:22:00 pm
Hi, recently I have finished the 10 sallies, here are the pics:
If you look carefully at that last picture, you'll notice that the power fist is metal with blue and green washes, now this is my new theory for power weapons. It always says in fluff that they are sheathed in power so this wash gives that effect. All it is is thraka green and asurmen blue or watered down blue. On power swords and claws you would still do the power line as well of course. Now, here comes the tutorial:
Coverting regular guys is quite a rtecent thing. I've found though that just a few small conversions in a unit really makes it pop. Now if you look at my guy with bolt pistol and bolter, his strong pose really makes him look real, whereas the guys just holding bolters normaly stop the unit from looking over the top. So, I know that this isn't really a tutorial but just think next time you build regular guys, could I change that.
Now, onto the Army Finishing project standings, I am noow on 11 points.

So, not to big a list but then again the army finishing project is a big thing. I hope you had a gret christmas and a happy New Year. Thankks for reading,
Jacob.
- Finish army finishing project.
- Build up some proper tactics with an army that I like and is effective (ie Space wolves and warriors of chaos).
- Keep this blog updated with interesting content.
- To do the random bits that pop up in the year like buying new stuff and to have them done with and not just left around.
So, not to big a list but then again the army finishing project is a big thing. I hope you had a gret christmas and a happy New Year. Thankks for reading,

Tutorials: adding that extra bit (reedeemer).
These ludicrous thoughts were scrawled by
Gamers World

10:42:00 am
So, here we are you tutorial loving people, pictures and a tutorial of the extra bits on the reedeemer. Here we go:
Firts we have writing, this is an eccelent was to add character, ty last tutorial was on how to do this!
Then there is free hand art. Now, I am no artist but I have done some devbout symbols etc then washed them out slightly with a mix of brown green and grey making them look like hand written scripts etc that have been there for days!
The next bit is killl markings and scripts, always writte a little squigly line on purity seals and on guns it is sometimes a good idea to write on kill markings (x's).
Here is another example, I have written Ts'Kar on it which is the drivers name. Hard to see I know.
Thats it people, what do you think, thanks for reading,
Jacob.

Hi, over the last week or so I have been making progres on my Reedeemer, a terran hands rhino (repainted) and a WIP tac squad. On with the pics:
Here is the Reedeemer The gold was painted iyanden then twice shining gold then very very heavy wash devlan.
I ran our of boltgun so the maetals are mithril silver heavily washed with badab black.
Now for the marines, sorry for bad lighting in these pics.
On these I just did some little things like some highlighting, next is final details and arms/boltguns, should be good when there done!
Finaly the rhino, not many pics at the moment as it is just as you see there. This is just a bog standard job.
So, what do you think. Have you been enjoying the army finishing project, I know I have. Not going to be much warhammer coming my way this christmas but hey ho. Thanks for reading,
Jacob.

Tutorials: Writing on tanks (11 pics).
These ludicrous thoughts were scrawled by
Gamers World
at
12:00:00 am
Hi, Just thought I'd do the tutorial on how I did the writing on the sally rhinos, reme3mber this isa also a bpart of the army finishing project, here we go:
Step 1, placing: choose where on the model you want the writing, make sure to do this carefully as it is very important.
Step 2, draw it: Get a pice of paper and draw out what you want your writing to say, I called one of my rhinos Fire Drake and the other Carinus. Here is how I drew out Fire Drake.
Step3, paint 1: paint the letters carefully with only simple curls etc, make sure to print it and not join up as this will make it neater.
Step 4, paint 2: Paint on your other locations (I had 2).
Step 5, joining up: It's hard to see butb here I have carefully joined up the letters.
Here are the close-ups of my other tank so you can see the step by step again.
So, what do you think, like it. Do I need to improve anything. Thanks for reading,
Jacob.

Army Finishing Project: The great list of stuff!
These ludicrous thoughts were scrawled by

Hi, here is the list complete with how many points things are worth as explained below. This is mainly for me and you will repeatedly see this over and over again as I complete stuff. Anyway, here is rthe points rules:
OK, I want to earn points for painting but I want to spend them on something. So, some usints have - points costs which means to paint them I have to paint other stuff fist this is to stop me from painting all the nice bit and leaving the rest, first shown is the points value when finished then the actual thing and then finally the tutorial that will go with that thing, on with the list:

Army finishing project: More formulated ideas!
These ludicrous thoughts were scrawled by
Gamers World
at
12:17:00 pm
So, I was thinking some thing like this:
Finished basic foot troop-1 pt
Finished medium foot troop-2pt
Finished complex foot troop-3pt
Finished foot character-4pt
Cavalry/bike-2pt
Character cav/bike-5pt
Tank-5pt
Ammendmenst to points may be made at a later date. When I list things I will sometimes give them a - point value. This means I will have to spend accumilated points to paint them. this will help me get all my stuff done and not just the characters etc!
Tell us what you think guys, thanks for reading,
Jacob
